Yarn Bowls

Bridges Pottery is a one woman pottery on the north shore of long island. Patricia Bridges is a ceramic artist that makes beautiful functional pottery for the kitchen and home. I am dedicated to excellence in craftsmanship and have been working in ceramics for three decades. My yarn bowls are very popular amongst knitters.

Bridges Pottery Yarn Bowls have been featured in VogueKnitting Magazine (spring/summer), and are showcased at the VogueKnitting Live Show in New York City. You can purchase them at either of my online shops -Artfire or Etsy

Don't be surprised if they are backordered!

I am a knitting potter or potting knitter. Yarn bowls need to be on the heavy side, with a wide stable base. My yarn bowls are hefty as well as having a nice wide base. Most of them measure approximately 4" tall x 6" wide at the rim. Each one is unique. A narrow base looks nice on a tea bowl but is not practical for a Yarn Bowl. I make my key cutout for the yarn nice and deep so the yarn really stays there - and the path is very smooth.  Bridges Pottery Yarn Bowls come with the same high quality craftmanship as my large serving pieces that sell for hundreds more. Feel free to email me with any questions.
